It has been a difficult process for Mocafico to gain the authorization to photograph the objects; most museums do not display the models and they are extremely fragile.

He plays with his viewers, drawing us into a world of shadows, light, colour and texture, then throws us into confusion whilst we attempt to make sense of the illusion.

His photographs confront mortd with a double image mogte reality, an illusion of a painting and in turn an illusion of the real. Mocafico is exclusively represented by Hamiltons Gallery; his work has been exhibited internationally sinceincluding venues in London, Paris, Munich and Tokyo.
