Ups and Downs I’ve had this book sitting in my wishlist for a while now, intrigued by all it had to offer.

The fine print of the plot takes some getting use to and it has a very clear Yaoi type feel to it. Nunn and this one so stands out.

Ran Yamane is a splendid character, and Rory, who admittedly I took a little while to warm up to was interesting. It has past mentions of animal abuse, extreme torture and a freak psycho.

Rory faces this new adventure as if he is playing with a z.a.maxfild videogame; he plans his move, he hides his traces, and he for real sweeps Yamane away but not for dancing under the moon, but in a run through the country.

When Kelly admits he’s in love with Blue, bonds are tested, and Blue has to decide what’s really important. Drawn Together by Z. Anyway, aside from the stupid plot, the characters were interesting.

Not that coming out wouldn’t solve a couple of problems. Rory has a big heart and is a very good boy, but he seems to not have the reputation of a very clever man. Audio copy of Drawn Together provided by the author in exchange of an honest review. I know they aren’t major players in the book but I’d kinda love to see something written for Rene The characters won me over quickly and I adored every minute of their crazy love story. I appreciated the suspense and adore Rory and Yamane love story Oct 20, Heller rated it it was ok Shelves: Item s unavailable for purchase. And Yamane is a guy and not a girl. But I still enjoyed it.

I have only one real complaint and that is I’m not sure why every thinks that Ran Yamane is female. He’s going to chuck everything and travel 1, miles to Anime Expo in Long Beach to tell her, and no one and nothing is going to stand in his way.

I wish there was more! Please, authors, no more Insta Love So I saw the cover, saw something being mentioned about gay and erotic and adult, and there is NO WAY that could disappoint me, right?

Greg Boudreaux was a delight to listen to and I look forward to hearing more by him. May 29, Elisa Rolle added it.

He’s loved her since junior high school, and now he has the chance to meet her. Its the story of Rory, who drives across the country to attend a conference featuring his favorite artist Yamane, who believes is a girl. He was such an interesting and sexy character. The realization penetrated his long-frozen heart that he loved Rory.

Mar 12, Daisiemae rated it it was amazing Shelves: We appreciate your drawnn. But a few times the lack of understanding on either side annoyed me to no end. I still never forgave him tgether sleeping with the doctor towards the beginning of the book At that z.x.maxfield I began to love Rory and wanted to have my usual readers voyeuristic seat to watch as they fell in love.

He would never be able to totether this to his agent. I love her work, especially her Clex and Silver stuff. Yamane is beautiful, no doubt, but Rory is not ready to forget the little details that he is not gay, not even for an handsome man like Yamane. An adventure and a romance, well frawn and perfectly performed. Maxfield has such a way with words and her style is something special. It’s funny and sweet and sexy and romantic and too much fun not to give five gushing stars.

A bit — yes, but without the predictability I doubt this plot would work as well as it did. From what I know, southern girls are really good in making their men doing what the women want believing that it’s what the men want to do; they don’t talk but they are really good in directing behind the scene. Not only the two main characters are complex and interesting, the book is also full of funny and various supporting characters, don’t get me start with Rory’s grandparents, or the various police officers, even the evil men have their “positive” side.
