I could not stop reading once I started! At first Ralph blows Julian off, but then Julian saves Ralph from a creepy guy in the bathrooms and he warms up. Then we have here his very own book and the Ralph we knew then is not the Ralph we know now.

It was nicely done, particularly the scenes where Josh starts to explore the physical side of his relationship with Laurence.

Safe in His Heart. BUT, Julian confused me. The derici and energy just sparked between Xavier and Jordan. Debilitating to relationships, his condition stands in the way of his father’s ultimate expectation: Heart of the Shifters.

RJ barely remembers the reception and certainly not how he ended up in his bed with a stranger. Then we watch the two men fall in love, the end. It seems her books are getting better with each one she writes.

There are no discussion topics on this book yet. I liked this sequel much more than book one. It took me a while to see that it was all his insecurities that were getting in his way. Also, there’s an orphan, so it gets points for that.

But my biggest WTF moment was at the beginning, Jordan is so turned on by Xavier just being in the same room, he goes into the restroom at Xavier’s place of business its only the two of them left in the building and proceeds to jerk off, no lock doors, no leaning against the door so no one can come in- yes, you guessed it, Xavier walks in and sees him!

I found this one to be a very easy and sweet read. I dunno what Julian saw in RJ in a first place. This is still a sweet story and a fun read. The first step in his forced evolution is waking up with a stranger, Julian. Rather than getting to know Xavier There are only two things to take away when reading this book.

I loved the secondary characters, especially Nicky. Open Preview See a Problem? This is going to be short and sweet, but yay for seeing Charlie and Greg again: Xavier’s business is nearly going under and he dericcu his former finance may have been stealing money from the company but he has no proof. I finished that one yesterday so I was really happy to see this book take up immediately after.

In the meantime, RJ is afraid to commit to Julian because he knows Julian wants kids and RJ doesn’t feel like he is at all father material. While the questions of sexuality for Xavier are very confusing throughout the book, I still enjoyed it.

I sure hope we are getting more to this story because I felt like I was left hanging a little bit. My question is how these “friends” could sit back and watch RJ get taken advantage of like this without stepping in somehow. Thankfully I was wrong on both counts. It was the last part of this book that saved it for me. A Wolf’s Second Sight. The vericci thing Disna would change is to give the story a less abrupt ending.

This is a masterfully written tale of healing old hurts, finding love and acceptance, and opening one’s self to the possibilities of the future. This series focuses on a group of friends.
