Bunyip State Park

Parking at Mortimer Picnic Ground, we found the beginning of the walk across the grassed area to the west. I’ve looked at Walks in Victoria in the book shop a few times but never got around to buying it.

Lots of great info on here. Bunyip State Park Closest Town: Neil Fahey on August buniyp, at Featured Walks Jasper Hotel – short walk around dtate block Melbourne. The walk was good, challenging in places but no where near as good as the cathedral ranges.

There were great views to be had as it was a clear day, and the rocks were pretty awesome!

You can drag these if they are not in the right spot. Drive to Belgrave along the Burwood Highway and continue a further 24km to Gembrook. Maybe it’s time I did. It is a very pretty spot though.
