This narrative takes us from the period when Btavo Hussein invaded Kuwait up until after the war had ended and the prisoners of the patrol code-named Bravo-Two-Zero returned home. It’s a clunky piece of writing and McNab’s inability to reflect on anything in a more this-is-what-happened-next narrative offers little insight.
