After the horrifying ending of Andrea Cremer’s BloodroseI have been a bit terrified to even read another one of her books. I have mixed feeling about this book by overall it was okay. She was strong-willed and stubborn and eager to fight on the battle field!
Rift by Andrea Cremer. Please provide an email address. And of course we’ve seen this evil before! I don’t know if I didn’t like this because I don’t like Cremer or maybe because I don’t want to admit I like it because it’s her book. With an amazing plot the entices the reader, Rift is satisfactory. I felt like his presence was necessary to get the story in motion, so I didn’t mind this aspect.
Eira is motivated by power.
She blew me away again! Although Rift had a cremsr that quickly drew me in and an ending that had me heartbroken and on the edge of my seat, I found there were a few times in between where it wasn’t quite as attention-grabbing. The amount of chemistry between the leads, and the number of near misses build a level of anticipation that has you racing through the pages to find out whether they ritf ever find a way to be together.

Why did I stick through it, you ask? There’s a little bit of a love triangle going on, but not really in a bad way I also thought that the view spoiler [ romance took too long to happen, I didn’t want to have to wait till the end to be able to have a kiss between Ember So Whenever one comes on the scene my mind perks with interest.
Read a book by her again. It’s been a while since I read nightshade, but I still feel like a lot was not explained in this book. My answer – I loved the world Andrea’s created in Nightshade, and I was more than interested to see how it all began in this prequel. We are experiencing technical difficulties. Cremer definitely brings the dark and mysterious with Rift.
And it’s not just Ember. Cian and Eira are the sisters who started it all. And Ember’s crazy desire to fight battles she didn’t even know the cause of yet, just because she loved the thrill of battle seemed quite formulated and less like a realistic desire of a realistic character speaking of, the phrases about her pulse speeding up and the her heart beating in exhileration were a little overused sometimes.
It’s a scarily realistic part of the book, relevant to issues today despite being set in medieval times. May 24, Giselle rated it it was amazing Shelves: Luke Skywalker got zapped a few times before connecting with the force. I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first book in the nightshade series.
She writes incredibly well. Cremmer things that impressed me: There are dark and evil forces amidst the townspeople, some from another world and some unfathomable. He’s just Ember’s friend but he is by far my favourite; he’s funny and charming. Nov 25, Leigh rated it really liked it.
They have such sweet and tender moments that made me want to melt. Cremer must try to satisfy both sets of readers. Plotted in the past, it leads the character to a time where women did things in secret. Is there going to cermer a third prequel? In fact, Rift is full of action, romance, danger, and so much more!
